Kelowna City Park - Promenade

The City of Kelowna planned extensive upgrades to its City Park including landscaping upgrades, reconstruction of a new pedestrian pathway, and shoreline protection works. Plans developed by True North Engineering, Waters Edge Engineering and Ecora Landscape Architects created a cohesive design that highlighted the expansive Kelowna shoreline. The main project activities relating to the project included:

• Protection of existing asset and environmental values
• Installation of 2900 m2 of concrete pathway
• Street lighting along pathway
• Site Amenities including benches, trash cans, water fountains
• Landscaping & Irrigation

Our environmental division completed the shoreline works then transitioned to the landscaping while the recreation crews handled the civil, utility and pathways construction. City Park is a prominent community feature in the Okanagan that showcased our teams ability to collaborate, communicate and rise to the occasion to complete this epic project. This was the largest project Cabin has tackled to date and the result was nothing short of amazing.
